Although I am qualified Dramatherapist rather than a Playtherapist it is important to note that Dramatherapy does incorporate a degree of ‘Play’ within its remit and there is often an overlap in some of the structures used. For example, the creation of stories, small world play, mask work, puppetry and the use of a sand tray.
My continued professional development incorporates courses that are applicable to creative arts therapists from a range of disciplines including Playtherapy.
